How we deliver

You sign off on each step before we move on.

  1. Define the needs

Together we work out who the app is for, what problem it solves and what goes into version one.

  2. Design the screens

We start with a clickable prototype, and build only once the flow and look are agreed.

  3. Develop

iOS and Android are built together, with test builds to try along the way.

  4. Review together

We check every feature and every line of text; anything touching the Dharma is checked by our Buddhist-studies editor.

  5. Release and maintain

We publish to the app stores under your name and keep it updated as agreed.

Case study · our own product

Traditional Tibetan calendar app

Tibetan and Gregorian dates side by side, day by day, in the two most widely used calculation systems, switchable at any time. Because the two calculate differently, the Tibetan date for a given day and the position of leap months sometimes differ.

Phugpa

ཕུག་ལུགས།

The most widely used Tibetan calendar system; most Tibetan almanacs are calculated with it.

Tsurluk

མཚུར་ལུགས།

Handed down from Tsurphu Monastery and used mainly in the Karma Kagyu tradition.
